Scouting Report

Aniya is an experienced ball handler that can make plays for herself and her teammates. She’s proven herself as a point guard and combo guard against some of the NCAA’s best. She is dangerous in transition with her speed, court vision and ability to get to the paint. In the halfcourt, Aniya’s basketball IQ allows her to read defenses and her quickness allows her to make the appropriate play. She is able to score through and around contact at the rim, has balance and touch in her midrange game and has increased her perimeter shooting accuracy. Defensively, Aniya can make life difficult for whomever she’s guarding and also has great instincts to make plays off the ball. A well-respected and genuine teammate are two of her traits that allow her to directly impact a team’s performance on and off the court.
