Flash Agency Czech/Slovakian Forward/Post Simona Podesvova (186cm/6'1'') has signed for the coming season with CAB Madeira from Portugal. For many years, Simona Podesvova has been a tower of strength for MBK Ruzomberok both domestically and especially in EuroCup Women. The season 2010-2011 she was influential as the leader of the team with a fantastic double-double across the campaign averaging nearly 18 points and 12 rebounds per game. Particularly aggressive on the offensive boards, she will get any team valuable second chance opportunities and can make jump shots as well as finishing around the hoop. The last four seasons she is playing out of her country and she has gained a lot of experience playing in Spain, France and Sweden. Last year Simona finished with Avenir Basket Chartres having 9.8ppg, 10.8rpg, 2.0apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 44.2%, FT: 52.1% and was elected as Bosman player of the year for France.
