Bendu Yeaney was born November 20th , 1998, in Portland , Oregon. She began playing basketball in the 5th grade, after taking a break from soccer and grew to love the sport. Bendu has built a resume that she has continued to add throughout her playing career. Bendu has a very high motor that she has become known for being a defensive specialist. A guard who is very good ball handler,scorer, passer, rebounder and playmaker while being a really good teammate. She is a 3 level scorer. The 5’10 guard can guard positions 1-4 which made it difficult for her coaches to take her off the floor. Bendu attended Indiana university from 2017-2020 where she lead them to a WNIT championship in her freshman year, her sophomore year she lead them to the second round of the NCAA tournament. While averaging 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in her two season at Indiana. In 2020, Bendu transferred to Arizona where she became known for her defense and helped them go to the NCAA Tournament Championship game where she had 5 steals against the most outstanding player of the tournament. In 2022, Bendu Transferred to Oregon state university to play in front of friends and family where she learned and became a leader for her team. She averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Bendu has also surpassed over 1000 points, 600 rebounds 300 assists 200 steals in her career. Very talented and skilled player with a lot of experience playing against power 5 conference talent.
